Финансовое соглашение по деривативам, которое имеет экономический эффект, аналогичный сделке по кредитованию ценными бумагами. В этом соглашении дилер одновременно
(1) осуществляет прямую продажу акций за денежные средства инвестору, получая рыночную стоимость,
(2) покупает у инвестора за денежные средства внебиржевые опционы “колл” “при деньгах”, предоставляющие дилеру право купить акции в определенную дату по первоначальной цене, и
(3) продает инвестору за денежные средства внебиржевые опционы “пут” “при деньгах”, предоставляющие инвестору, уплачивающему денежные средства, право продать акции по первоначальной цене.
В результате дилер имеет синтетическую длинную позицию по акциям, сохраняя любой положительный или отрицательный доход по акциям, тогда как инвестор, уплачивающий денежные средства, застрахован от потерь в стоимости акций, но также должен выплатить дилеру любой доход от повышения цены акций. Расчет денежными средствами по опционам производится по истечении их срока. Ценовая модель опционов предоставляет премии по опционам “пут” и “колл”, которые сальдируются до заранее определенных издержек финансирования.
